Why are LASTS so hard?  Its sad to see chapters go!   I remember saying my LAST goodbye to my dad, oh my goodness just doing that was so difficult.   Last of diapers, last nursing, last cute voices, and last school aged.  How weird is that feeling?! It hits a Mom kinda hard when they come all at once too.  “Life’s about change and nothing ever stays the same” …. isn’t that the truth!?

I’m not called to keep my kids little forever.  I’m not called to keep them under my roof forever.  I’m not called to baby them forever.  I’m called to be their mother.  I’m called to bring them up in the Lord, train them, disciple them, love them, listen to them, be there for them,  teach, lead and direct them.  Do all of this so that they can grow up and hopefully serve and honor God with their life and ultimately bring GLORY TO GOD! We pray that for our children.
